HBPG Internship Program

The HB internship program is an opportunity for students to gain professional experience in the fields of planning and urban design by providing research support in our areas of innovation and by providing general assistance on a range of planning projects. Our internship program is generally geared towards students studying planning, urban design, or landscape architecture at the graduate level.

We offer two types of internship positions: part time and full time.

The part-time internship position is a research position focused on one of the firms areas of innovation. This position is generally available throughout the year to students fulfilling University internship requirements for academic credit.  The internship is usually one day per week for duration of 15 - 16 weeks.

The full time position is available during the summer break only (from May to August) for a student wishing to gain summer employment in the capacity of a planning assistant. This position involves providing general assistance and support to HB staff on a range of ongoing projects the firm is working on.
