Client: City of Vancouver, Southeast False Creek and Olympic Village Project Office

Project: Develop a strategy to integrate food related activity for Vancouver’s model sustainable community. The strategy addressed how a high density urban community might develop an improved relationship with food production, processing and distribution systems. Final report addressed topics of green roofs for food production, community gardens, farmer’s markets, as well as recommendations to link urban agriculture strategically with other aspects of sustainability.

Firm Role: Holland Barrs led a multi-disciplinary team, completed workshops, and prepared the report.
